Whether we're working with collegiate athletes, young campers or corporate managers, safety is our highest priority – and our perfect safety record is proof of that commitment.

The leadership team at Outer Edge Performance has a combined 50+ years of experience in outdoor education and adventure program delivery. We set the bar high when it comes to establishing standards for delivering the safest possible experiential programming and adventure-based youth development experiences.

Outdoor professionals
Having your children, employees or students in our care is a responsibility we do not take lightly. All our staff are carefully selected, top outdoor professionals. Our policies and procedures, risk management practices and staff training is thoroughly reviewed each year to assure constant safety and quality.

Qualifications & permits
Outer Edge Performance staff hold a variety of state and national certifications and professional degrees in disciplines ranging from education, wilderness medicine, CPR and first aid, to rock climbing instruction, avalanche safety, wilderness therapy, outdoor recreation management and risk management.

We are granted annual guide and outfitter permits from a variety of land managers including the City of Colorado Springs, Colorado State Parks, Rocky Mountain National Park, the National Forest Service (Colorado and Wyoming) and the Bureau of Land Management (Colorado and Utah). In addition, the US government has approved Outer Edge Performance as a preferred vendor for experiential and adventure-based development programs.
