Youth Camps > Grades 1-3 > Wet & Wild Explorers

Wet & Wild Explorers
Day Camp (grades 1-3)

Catch the wave of fun and learning!  This week is overflowing with excitement, flooded with creativity, and soaked in awareness.  Come along as we take a trip through the water cycle.  From liquid to solid to gas, water is everywhere and is a crucial element for life. We are going to dive into the wet, wild world of water as we learn to appreciate this precious resource.

Conservation made fun
This is an introductory camp designed specifically for students entering 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade.  Wet & Wild Explorers Camp is a wonderful opportunity to introduce your young explorer to water-based recreation, while expanding their understanding of this resource.  Through hands-on exploration and enjoyable activities students will become acquainted with the importance of water, while learning ways to conserve and preserve water.

Skilled, enthusiastic instructors are ready to lead your little explorer on a journey through rivers, lakes, and streams as students face challenges that encourage critical thinking, skill building, and create a thirst for more adventure.

Learning through exploration
The duration and intensity of enrichment activities are specifically chosen to support learning, encourage reflection, and promote growth.  The experiences this week are never watered down.  Whether we are fishing off a peer in a city lake, ice skating at an indoor ice arena, or hiking out to a waterfall there is no shortage of learning and exploration.  Our week culminates in a trip to the Denver Aquarium and a closer look at the animals that live under the sea.
