Eventually, every summer must come to an end. But the experiences that children and young adults share at an Outer Edge Performance Summer Experience stay with them for a lifetime.
Our professional staff has over 30 years combined experience working safely and successfully in outdoor wilderness and experiential settings nationwide. Expert facilitators, professional educators and amazing counselors, they come together to offer stimulating and inspiring day and overnight camps in the Rocky Mountain region. We are passionate about creating opportunities that help youth from six to 17 years of age learn, grow and excel. Here, exceptional leadership, innovative programs, and safe and rewarding challenges inspire students, strengthen young minds and bodies, and provide valuable experiences that help prepare students for all the journeys ahead.
Summer Experience. Beyond camp.
The OEP Summer Experience is more than a traditional summer youth camp. We take an integrated approach to learning, exploration and outdoor recreation that engages students at all levels – intellectual, emotional, physical and social. Our goal is to empower and enrich youth of all ages by giving them opportunities for:

Through adventure enrichment activities, environmental education and service learning, students walk away with respect for themselves, others and nature – and gain a unique perspective of their own untapped potential.
Natural adventures. Urban explorations.
In today's increasingly technical world, the gap between young people and nature is widening. That's one reason why we often use nature as our classroom in innovative ways, teaching campers about both the thrill of adventure and the value of the environment. We also take advantage of the cultural and educational landscape of Denver, Colorado, and other urban environments.
From one week to one unforgettable summer
Outer Edge Performance offers 15 different summer camp experiences. Each Summer Experience is a stand-alone program. Whether you enroll your child for one week or all six, they will enjoy a memorable, enriching experience.
1–3 Graders—Little explorers discover plants, animals and water through safe interactive outdoor challenges in our Eco-Explorers day camps.
4–7 Graders—Older students learn to appreciate themselves and their surroundings as they hike, climb and raft their way across Colorado's Front Range at Eco-Trekkers day and overnight camps.
8–12 Graders—Teenagers backpack and rock climb on a multi-night expedition. They can also choose summer programs on service and leadership in the Rocky Mountains.
